Utopia Park History
In 1929, a local Utopia family deeded the Park and town square to the Utopia Park Board Association. The Board is made of volunteers to oversee improvements and fundraising for the Park. We are a 501 (C) (3) organization which is funded by strictly by donations, camping and day use fees.
The Sabinal River runs through the Utopia Park is a great place for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the crystal clear water.
The level of the river always depends on the amount of rainfall that is received in the Canyon.
Park Managers
Ashley and Josh Dickerson manage and operate the park facilities, take care of all reservations and reside on the park grounds.
Utopia Park Board
The Utopia Park Board is all volunteer organization that is operated by a board consisting of President – Valerie Moore, Vice President - Kevin Boyd, Treasurer/Secretary – Sarah Wernette, Directors –Shane Wernette, Greg Lopez, Jeffrey Moore, Scott Stephenson, Steve Innanen, not pictured Lonnie Wayne Bomer and Bob Bomer.

Some of the 2022 improvements included adding a new roping chute to the rodeo arena, tree limbs trimmed from around the dance floor and playground equipment received new boards, fresh paint and new hardware
